Charming old polychrome terracotta sculpture signed by Joseph Le Guluche, produced by the Alphonse Hanne factory in L'Isle-Adam.

This scene, full of humor and tenderness, depicts a couple of popular characters in a style typical of late 19th and early 20th century productions. The plaque on the front bears the inscription: “It’s been a long time… hasn’t it?”, adding to the charm of the humorous genre scenes of the era.

Very beautiful quality of modeling and polychromy for this decorative work, sought after by collectors of old terracotta and popular French sculptures.
